Qualifications & Experience: Valid Special Education Teacher credentials Experience or strong interest in working with pre-K students with mild to moderate disabilities Commitment to the needs of young learners, supporting their individual developmental goals Must undergo fingerprinting as required for pre-K placements Familiarity with evidence-based instructional methods and IEP implementation Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with teaching teams and families Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to address individual IEP goals Develop a nurturing classroom environment with age-appropriate supports Monitor student progress and provide regular updates via student records and meetings Collaborate with specialists, paraprofessionals, and family members for holistic care Participate in school meetings, professional development, and maintain compliance with all district and state guidelines This contract role is set on a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:15 am to 3:15 pm, ensuring a structured workday that aligns with the school calendar.
