Located near Henderson, NC, you'll play a vital role in fostering growth, independence, and confidence in every learner. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Valid teaching certification for Special Education. Experience supporting middle school students with mild to moderate disabilities in inclusive or self-contained settings. Strong collaboration skills for working with support staff, therapists, and families. Proven ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide engaging, differentiated instruction. Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management abilities. Passion for empowering diverse learners to reach their fullest potential. Key Responsibilities: Deliver instruction and interventions tailored to students' IEPs, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards. Maintain a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment. Regularly assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed. Develop IEP documentation, participate in meetings, and partner with families and support staff to maximize student growth. Foster social, emotional, and academic development for students with disabilities. Participate in ongoing professional development.
