This full-time opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, with a structured weekday schedule from 7:15am to 3:15pm. Experience a rewarding contract position working closely with a caseload of 13 pre-K students presenting mild to moderate needs, in a supportive and collaborative school environment. Qualifications: Valid and current Special Education Teaching credentials, with authorization to work with pre-K students. Experience working with children with mild to moderate disabilities in an early childhood or similar educational setting. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive, adaptive learning environment. Must be fingerprinted and pass background clearance requirements for pre-K classrooms. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both with students and collaborating professionals. Passion for fostering growth, independence, and confidence in young children. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student. Foster a positive, engaging, and structured classroom atmosphere to encourage learning and development. Collaborate closely with general education staff, support personnel, and families. Monitor and communicate student progress regularly, adapting strategies as needed. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as required.
