OPEN POSITIONS

Job Title: SECONDARY SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS

Reports To: BuildingPrincipal/ Supervisor, or other administrator if needed

Effective date: 09/01/2026

Salary Range: Candidates will be placed on guide according to qualifying experience ($62,289 - $104,889) Pending negotiations

Position Summary: The above contractual position is available for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications:

• Teacher of the Handicapped required OR
• Secondary instructional certificate (Math, English, Science, or Social Studies) with Teacher of Students with Disabilities required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: See attached Job Description

Technology Skills: Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Frontline Applications, and Student Information System.

Evaluation of Performance: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the New Jersey Administrative Code and Board of Education policy.

Terms of Employment: 10 Month Contract. Salary and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable and collective negotiations agreement. See above for specific salary information.
