Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred)
• Current Special Education teaching certification
• Experience creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Knowledge of diverse learning styles and instructional strategies
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, adapt, and deliver lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
• Implement IEPs monitoring progress and adjusting as necessary
• Offer differentiated instruction in both individual and small group settings
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages acceptance, respect, and growth
• Consistently assess student achievement and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as required
