Qualifications:

• Valid NYS Certification in Special Education or Students with Disabilities Birth to Grade 2 (required)
• Individuals currently pursuing certification in Special Education Birth-Grade 2 may be considered for a Substitute Special Education Teacher role
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, children, and families
• Experience implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) and using differentiated instructional strategies
• Passion for working with preschool-aged children in both integrated and self-contained classroom settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging instruction tailored to a diverse group of preschoolers with a range of needs
• Implement IEPs and adjust teaching methods to maximize student participation and progress
