Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification required.
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting.
• Proficiency using Embrace and the CPS System portal is strongly preferred.
• Previous work with a range of student needs and ages, especially within a SPED environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and case management skills.
• Ability to adapt to an itinerant schedule, providing support across various locations.
• Strong understanding of caseload management and IEP processes.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored instruction and support for students with diverse abilities.
• Serve as a Case Manager, overseeing IEP development, implementation, and compliance.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and external providers to optimize student outcomes.
• Utilize the Embrace portal for efficient and accurate case documentation.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and indirect hours as scheduled.
• Maintain detailed records to ensure all administrative requirements are met.
