Special Education Teacher, Project Transition

SPECIAL EDUCATION - PROJECT TRANSITION BANGOR HIGH SCHOOL Maine Special Education Certificate #282 required.
Qualified to instruct in multiple subject areas preferred.
Ability to complete diagnostic testing required.
Ability to write Individual Education Programs (IEPs) necessary.
Experience developing and following behavior plans preferred.
Experience teaching students with intellectual disabilities and/or autism preferred.
Willing to work collaboratively with colleagues necessary.
Proficiency with technology is necessary.
Willingness to contribute to the total functioning of the school is preferred.
