Teacher Assistant (TA) – May Center School, Wilmington, MA
Make a real difference in the lives of children and adolescents (ages 3–21) with Autism and developmental disabilities! As a Teacher Assistant, you’ll provide direct classroom support, implement intervention strategies, and help students build critical skills using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Your Impact:- Support lead teachers in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Assist students with personal care and behavioral interventions.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Use ABA strategies to promote communication, social skills, and independence.
- Document student progress and collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team.
- Age: 18+
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- License: Current valid U.S. driver’s license
- Availability: Full-time (Mon–Fri, 8 AM–4 PM, some flexibility); year-round program
- Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities, reliability, compassion, and adaptability
- Competitive Pay: $23/hr + $0.50/hr increase after 6 months.
