Belmonte Upper Elementary School Special Education Teacher

UPPER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER A creative and collaborative special education teacher with a strong working knowledge of special education regulations and required documentation to work with students with learning disabilities. Applicants must have current State of Mass certification in special education. Applicants must possess strong interpersonal skills and be willing to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Experience and Responsibility: 2-3 years teaching experience, Special Education Licensure, IEP writing, evaluation and report writing experience, responsible for effective management of classroom environment as well as the implementation of a classroom-wide positive behavior and intervention support system. and strong written and verbal communication skills. Other responsibilities deemed appropriate and assigned by the Building Principal and/or PPS Director.Responsible to the Building Principal and Director of PPS
