Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (state-specific, or eligibility to obtain)
• Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Demonstrated experience with individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families and staff
• Adaptable, compassionate approach to diverse student needs
• Skilled at implementing differentiated instruction and behavioral support strategies

What Youll Do:

• Develop, modify, and deliver tailored lesson plans to meet learning needs of students with disabilities
• Administer comprehensive assessments and regularly track student progress
• Work alongside other educators to plan and coordinate inclusive classroom environments
• Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that supports students academic and social-emotional growth
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Lead or participate in IEP meetings and consult with a multidisciplinary team
