TITLE: Special Education Teacher LOCATION: Jr/Sr High School SALARY: Per PVTA Contract CLOSING DATE OF APPLICATION: June 10, 2026 ANTICIPATED START DATE: 2026-2027 School Year QUALIFICATIONS: Students With Disabilities Generalist 7-12 Students With Disabilities Generalist 5-9 Special Education K-12 Students With Disabilities Birth - 2 Students With Disabilities Grades 1-6 Students With Disabilities 7-8 Generalist DUTIES: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with NYS and Federal regulations Provide differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and reports. Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families Participate in CSE (Committee on Special Education) meetings and contribute to evaluations.
