Your primary responsibility will be leading and developing tailored instruction for your classroom. Prior experience in self-contained settings is essential, as you'll support a range of learning abilities and needs, ensuring a high-quality, individualized educational experience. Qualifications & Requirements: Valid Florida ESE certification K-6 or PK-3 General Education certification Previous classroom experience working in a self-contained special education environment Ability to complete time-sensitive fingerprinting requirements; familiarity with AHCA Clearinghouse preferred Successful completion of an internal eligibility interview and virtual prescreening Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver lessons adapted to students with varying learning levels and exceptionalities Foster a supportive, nurturing, and engaging classroom community Communicate regularly with families, related service providers, and administration to support student progress Maintain compliance with IEPs, data documentation, and district or state policies This contract position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a manageable caseload and a consistent 35-hour workweek (7 hours per day).
