Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized lessons and interventions based on students IEP goals
• Foster a structured, inclusive, and positive classroom climate that supports behavioral and academic progress
• Utilize evidence-based strategies for instruction and behavior management
• Partner with general education staff, related service providers, school administration, and families to support student growth
• Monitor progress, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and regular progress reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education
• Current New Mexico Special Education Teacher certification
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
