High School Science Teacher (Chemistry) 2026-2027

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

WORK CALENDAR: 185 Day

COMPENSATION: Based on the Master Contract

FLSA Status: Exempt

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver appropriate instruction in Chemistry
• Develop effective instructional strategies and assessments that focus on state standards
• There must be a commitment to professional growth
• Must be an instrumental part of the instructional team
• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively
• Others as determined by the building principal

QUALIFICATIONS:

• The preferred candidate will have multiple teaching areas on their license
• The candidate must be licensed in Chemistry or able to recieve an alternative teaching license
• The preferred candidate will have experience working with secondary aged students
