Youll have the ability to work with students from Pre-K to 12th grade, including specific grade bands (K5, 68, 912), and use your skills in special education to adapt instruction in core subjects as well as mathematics. Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Previous experience with a range of grade levels, from early childhood to high school preferred
• Strong background in modifying curriculum and instruction for diverse learners, including in math
• Ability to create inclusive learning environments
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Up-to-date knowledge of IEPs, student assessments, and individualized goal setting

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to individual education plans (IEPs)
• Foster positive classroom management and inclusive practices
• Utilize data-driven instruction to support student achievement
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
• Engage families and guardians in the educational process
• Track and report student progress and adapt strategies as necessary
