Description:

An exciting opportunity for an individual who possesses excellent interpersonal skills, high energy level, creativity and the ability to teach all levels of secondary school students. The candidate must demonstrate excellent skills in the Spanish language and thorough knowledge of the Spanish culture. They must utilize active learning strategies that appeal to multiple modalities and learning styles. Should have the ability to create a positive, enthusiastic, dynamic classroom atmosphere implementing cooperative learning. Participation in classroom activities is necessary along with a knowledge and desire to work secondary school students. Preference will be given to individuals with dual language certification.

Qualifications:

Connecticut Teaching Certificate #023 Spanish

Salary:

In accordance with the Agreement Between Cheshire Board of Education and the Education Association of Cheshire.
