RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and deliver engaging math lessons covering topics such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus; Evaluate and record student progress, adjusting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs; Maintain discipline and order in the classroom to create a conducive learning environment; Communicate with parents regarding students' progress and behavior; Stay updated on curriculum changes and teaching standards, and participate in school activities and events; Provide additional support for students struggling with key concepts and prepare them for standardized tests; Strong understanding of mathematical principals, excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; Proficiency in using technology for instruction. QUALIFICATIONS: Holds or is eligible for WV Professional Teaching Certificate in Mathematics 7-12 or Mathematics 5-AD. REQUIREMENTS: Must pass a background check; Mandatory training sessions.
