Starting Salaries: Step 1BA - $ 73,699 and Step 1MA - $81,804
QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid NJDOE Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) certification or eligibility.
Valid NJDOE instructional certification for Grades 68.
Demonstrated knowledge of special education practices, including development and implementation of IEPs, accommodations, and modifications.
Demonstrated ability to support instruction across content areas within an inclusive classroom setting.
Ability to differentiate instruction and collaborate effectively with general education teachers in a co-teaching model.
Ability to maintain a positive and structured learning environment.
Effective problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
Required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or resident alien status.
Must meet NJ Residency requirements as per the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L.2011, Chapter 70).

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Terms of tenure track positions per collective bargaining agreement. Starting salaries: Step 1BA - $ 73,699 and Step 1MA - $81,804
- The employee is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid sick and personal leave accruals (pursuant to the collective bargaining agreement), and enrollment in the New Jersey Teachers' Pension and Annuity Fund (TPAF) or the Public Employees' Retirement System.
- The position is eligible for additional compensation in the form of stipends or tuition
reimbursement based on district policy.
