Music Teacher Jobs in Maine
A Music Teacher in secondary education is responsible for teaching students about different aspects of music such as music theory, history, and technique. In terms of certification, a bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field is commonly required. They may also need state-specific certification or licensure to teach in public schools. Prior to becoming a Music Teacher, a person could have roles such as a Private Music Tutor, Music Therapist, or Choir Director, which allow them to gain relevant teaching experience and work with different age groups.
