History Teacher Jobs in California
A History Teacher in secondary education is responsible for educating students, typically aged 12-18 years, about historical events, civilizations, cultures, and concepts. Their duties include creating lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum, delivering engaging lectures, organizing field trips, assigning and grading assignments, and conducting tests to assess students' understanding and knowledge retention. History Teachers also work with students individually or in groups to address their academic needs, establish learning goals, and promote critical thinking and analytical skills.
