Co-operative Education Teacher Jobs in Connecticut

A Co-operative Education Teacher in secondary education is responsible for preparing high school students for the transition from school to work or post-secondary education through a balanced blend of classroom instruction and work-based learning experiences. Co-operative Education Teachers should have a valid teaching license and a bachelor's degree in education or a related field. Some states may require a master's degree or an endorsement in cooperative education. Essential skills include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of career education and work-based learning methodologies, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with community businesses and organizations.
