Academic Instructor - Math

We are ETR and we operate the Northlands Job Corps Center in Vergennes, VT. We have over 25 years of experience in the field of education and training. Our student body range in age from 16 to 24 years old and our campus provides housing, wellness, meals, counseling, placement and more. We are seeking a Math Instructor to join our community.Our campus is set in central Vermont close to upstate New York and minutes to Lake Champlain. Starting pay for this position is just over 60K annual, good benefits that include major medical, vacation, holidays, 401K and more. A Bachelor Degree and Vermont State Teaching Certificate are required.

Job Requirements
Develops and prepares lesson plans; administers and corrects tests.Identifies, selects, and modifies instructional resources to meet the needs of the studentsRecommends curricula changes and supplemental materials.Motivates and counsels students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems or study habits.Coordinates with independent living advisors, counselors and other staff as necessary to resolve issues affecting student training.Records and forwards daily attendance to Student Records; maintains student personnel folders.
