Duties
- Teach and Engage: Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans in Biology, Anatomy, and Forensic Science that align with state standards, incorporating hands-on activities, labs, and technology to enhance learning.
- Support and Inspire: Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and respect while addressing diverse learning needs through effective instructional strategies and regular feedback.
- Collaborate and Contribute: Actively participate in school events, professional development, and team collaborations, maintaining regular communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Bachelors degree in Science Education, Biology, or a related field
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsements (if not certified, then willing to work to obtain certification).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students in a rural school setting.
- Previous teaching experience is a plus, but not required
