Permanent Substitute (School Designated Guest Teacher) Shepherdsville Elementary- SES (2026 - 2027)

This is a full-time position with benefits. The School Designated Guest Teacher (permanent substitute) will report to the school each instructional day (187 day contract: 170 instructional days, 7 Bullitt Days, 4 Professional Learning Days, Teacher Opening and closing Days + 4 paid holidays = 187 days). The SDGT will be assigned to a school location and perform the instructional and classroom management processes for teachers who are absent within the school.

(* Travel requirement: If there are no teacher absences at the assigned school on a particular day, the SDGT may be required to fill a teacher absence at another school location that day.

Minimum requirement: Must have a Bachelor's Degree

**Salary is a "DAILY RATE" based on the board approved salary schedule for the 2026-2027 school year!

Health Insurance (employee monthly premium based on plan selected)

or Waiver HRA or Waiver HRA limited purpose

Sick Leave and Personal Leave and Emergency Leave (prorated depending upon start date)

Personal Leave not used in school year rolls over to sick leave

Earn 2 more sick days if you do not use any sick leave during school year
