Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education (or related field)
• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
• Previous experience working with children with disabilities preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet student needs
• Compassionate, patient, and creative problem-solver

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction to students with disabilities
• Develop, update, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as necessary
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and goals
• Comply with all school policies, federal and state regulations related to special education
