Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with students in a special education setting
• Strong understanding of IEPs and knowledge of IDEA and Section 504
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet a range of learning abilities
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to student-centered teaching

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized educational programs for students with disabilities
• Collaborate with general education staff, therapists, and administrators to support students needs
