Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Colorado Special Education Certificate (CO SPED Certificate) required
• Experience working with high school-aged students in a resource or case management capacity
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Compassionate, collaborative, and organized approach to special education
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a case manager for high school students, ensuring compliance with all IEP processes and timelines
• Partner with general education teachers, families, and other specialists to support individual student needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, making data-driven adjustments as needed
• Provide direct instruction, intervention, and support for students with varying disabilities
• Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and professional development activities
• Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to state and federal regulations
