Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active certification in Special Education, or the ability to obtain one prior to start date
• Experience working with K-12 students in special education classroom settings
• Strong ability to adapt curriculum and teaching approaches to accommodate diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, support staff, and families
• Proven organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students goals and abilities
• Deliver engaging lessons using a variety of differentiated instructional strategies
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback for growth
• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom culture that encourages student achievement
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure holistic student success
• Maintain accurate records, document interventions, and participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
