Rising Tide Charter Public School is seeking a High School Physics Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants must have a strong background in science (a degree with a concentration in the subject area) as well as an interest in taking an inquiry- and skills-based approach to teaching and learning. Strong candidates will demonstrate versatility in life, physical, and applied sciences. This position is responsible for teaching sections of Introductory Physics and Technology & Engineering.Rising Tide Charter Public School (Rising Tide) is a Massachusetts charter public school. Rising Tide serves approximately 600 students in grades 5-12 from towns in the schools designated region. Rising Tide is a free public school that provides an academically challenging environment and high standards in a safe, small, and rewarding setting. Teachers develop the curriculum in alignment with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks as well as Rising Tide's own schoolwide objectives, benchmark skills, and subject area essential questions.At Rising Tide, teachers take an inquiry-based approach for building skills, content knowledge and understanding within the classroom. Full-time teachers are a part of grade-level and curricular teams, are advisors for students, and are given opportunities for leadership within the school. Job Requirements
