Kelly Education is hiring substitute teachers and paraprofessionals for Rosemount and Apple Valley School District 196.

Minimum Requirements

Substitute Teacher:

Bachelors degree or higher

Must be able to pass a background check.

Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) Substitute Teaching License OR Tier 3 or 4 Teaching License. If you are not yet licensed but hold a Bachelor’s degree in any subject, you are eligible to apply for licensure! Let us know and we can help connect you with the MDE.

Pay rates:

Teacher: $165/day

Teacher Responsibilities:

Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and provide additional support to students with diverse learning needs.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.

Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, reinforcing classroom instruction while promoting social and emotional development by encouraging positive peer interactions.

Substitute teachers may also be referred to as substitute educator, guest teacher, or relief teacher.
