Secondary Special Education Teacher

Qualifications :

Valid Indiana Teaching License with appropriate Special Education certification/licensure.

Demonstrated knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, including IDEA and Article 7.

Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Experience working with students with diverse learning, behavioral, emotional, and physical needs.

Knowledge of evidence-based instructional practices, interventions, and accommodations for secondary students.

Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively with students, parents, general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers.

Proficiency in educational technology and student data management systems.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the position.

Successful completion of required background checks and employment screenings.
