The teacher will support students in developing algebraic reasoning, problem-solving skills, mathematical fluency, and the ability to apply mathematical concepts to real-world situations. This position will focus on effective instruction in Algebra I, including linear equations, inequalities, functions, systems of equations, polynomials, quadratics, data analysis, and mathematical modeling. The teacher will use student data to plan instruction, monitor progress, close achievement gaps, and support district goals related to student achievement, STAAR/EOC performance, and college and career readiness. Stipend Note: This position may include a $5,000 stipend for certified staff demonstrating data-driven Qualifications: Education/Certification and Experience Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for mathematics at the secondary level, or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan. Demonstrated competency in mathematics. Student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience preferred.
