Key Qualifications: Valid certification in Special Education Experience working with high school students (grades 9-12) Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation Proficiency in providing academic support within inclusive classroom settings Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learners and learning needs Primary Responsibilities: Provide direct push-in resource support during classroom instruction for high school students with varying educational needs Collaborate with general education teachers to modify lessons and ensure accommodations are met Develop, review, and monitor IEPs in partnership with students, families, and staff Create an encouraging and accessible environment to foster student growth and success Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administrators to support student achievement Actively engage in professional development throughout the school year This opportunity features a Monday through Thursday workweek with hours from 7:30am to 4:30pmgiving you long weekends for personal time and relaxation.
