High School Teacher - Math at Lanphier High School

Duties

• Work with students to build organizational skills
• Provide support to students for core classes through a tutorial model
• Assist students with self-monitoring of academic progress and communication with teachers
• Work collaboratively with students and families to support student academic needs
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educators License with high school endorsement in Math
• Knowledge of instructional practices that promote supportive learning environments
• Ability to communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form and have had prior experiences demonstrating the use of collaborative teamwork
• Experience in flexible grouping instructional practices
• Working knowledge of integrated instruction and student-centered learning
