Qualifications & Responsibilities

Rossville Middle/Senior High School seeks an exceptional Mathematics teacher to teach middle school courses. The successful candidate will provide high-quality instruction that ensures all students, from those with IEPs to those enrolled in advanced coursework, receive rigorous, appropriate, and well-supported learning opportunities.

The ideal candidate will:

Demonstrate strong classroom leadership and effective classroom management, with the ability to engage and motivate students in a variety of settings.

Exhibit proven skill in differentiating instruction to meet the full spectrum of student needs, including learners requiring special education services and students pursuing higher-level academic rigor.

Design and implement a creative, standards-aligned curriculum that integrates real-world applications, higher-order thinking, and opportunities for both intervention and academic extension.

Use assessment data to guide instruction, providing targeted supports and enrichment to ensure every student makes measurable progress.

Collaborate with colleagues to build a cohesive and aligned mathematics program across grade levels and ability levels, sharing strategies and resources that support student achievement.

Partner effectively with parents and the community through consistent communication, transparency of expectations, and engagement in students' academic growth and success.
