Social Studies Teacher Full Time - High School

Nicollet High School is seeking a Full Time Social Studies Teacher for the 2026 2027 school year.

We are seeking a teacher that is motivated, passionate about the learning process, willing and able to differentiate instruction for the learning of all. Focused in creating a positive, respectful learning environment. Experienced in infusing technology with learning and be willing to jump into a team of great educators.

Courses may include:

• 9th & 10th grade American History (after the Civil War)
• 11th & 12th grade Semester 1 Economics & Semester 2 Government
• 11th & 12th grade College in the Schools (CITS) Cultural Geography and History of Western Civilization both courses are through Fond du Lac community college

The preferred candidate will hold a licensure in 7th 12th grade Social Studies + MS or 18 graduate credits in the history field to be able to teach CIS.

Nicollet Public School is a Pre-K through 12th grade site located in South Central Minnesota.

The successful candidate will hold a Valid Minnesota Teaching License.

Depending upon the successful candidate's qualifications, this position could be combined with other teaching assignments. Coaching opportunities may also be available.
