Position Summary
The Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing instruction that supports student learning and growth. This role creates a positive, inclusive classroom environment, collaborates with colleagues and families, and upholds school policies and academic standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Assess student progress using formative and summative methods
- Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide timely feedback to students and families
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administrators
- Participate in professional development and school meetings
- Maintain accurate records (attendance, grades, documentation)
- Support students' social-emotional and behavioral development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (required)
- Valid teaching license or certification (required)
- Classroom teaching experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and families
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student-centered learning
