Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Visual Arts Teacher to inspire creativity and foster artistic development among students of differing age groups. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in art education, fine arts and classroom management. This role involves designing engaging lesson plans, implementing curriculum standards, and supporting students' artistic growth within a nurturing environment.

The Visual Arts Teacher will play a vital role in cultivating students' artistic talents. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our student learners' artistic journeys while contributing to their overall development within a supportive educational environment.

The Visual Arts Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging visual arts instruction to students in grades 9-12. This role emphasizes the development of technical and artistic skills while fostering creativity, problem-solving, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts. The teacher creates a supportive studio environment where students are encouraged to explore a variety of media, techniques, and artistic perspectives.

Reports to the Fine & Performing Arts Department Chair.
