Qualifications & Experience:

• Must hold a Standard AZ Secondary Teaching License and a current K-12 Special Education Teaching Certificate.
• IVP Fingerprint Card required.
• Certification in CBT and/or STRIVE programs.
• Experience with inclusion, SUCCESS, practical classroom settings, and supporting students with emotional disabilities or related eligibility areas.
• Strong understanding of working with at-risk, limited English proficient, and exceptional students.
• Demonstrated knowledge of special services activities and documentation compliant with federal, state, and district standards.
• Previous training in Essential Elements of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.), or willingness to attend district-facilitated staff development.
• Candidates must reside within a 30-minute commute from one of the districts listed schools.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction for students within Inclusion/SUCCESS, Practical, CBT, and STRIVE environments.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs and abilities.
• Foster social, emotional, and self-regulatory skills in students requiring additional behavioral support.
• Build collaborative relationships with families, support staff, and administration to maximize student growth and progress.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and integrate best practices in special education.
