Special Education/Biology Teacher - MMS (2026-2027)

The Mahopac Central School District seeks to fill the following anticipated probationary position for the 2026-2027 school year: Special Education/Biology Teacher - Mahopac Middle School Certified special education teachers (grades 6-12) Biology (grades 5-9 extension) Knowledge in co-teaching practices, specially-designed instruction, and IEP development and management required. Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities; Familiarity with Next Generation Science Standards Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning Monitor student progress using multiple data points Provide small-group supplemental instruction focused on individual IEP goals, executive functioning, and specialized academic skill-building.
