TITLE: Substitute Teachers 26/27

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Camdenton R-III School District is seeking dedicated substitute teachers for the 2026/2027 school year. Substitutes ensure the continuity of education by implementing lesson plans, maintaining effective classroom management, and fostering a safe learning environment in the absence of the regular teacherupholding our culture of "Everyone Learning Every Day."

QUALIFICATIONS :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Missouri Substitute Teaching Certification
• Pass all background checks and screenings

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Valid Missouri teaching certification

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Board Policy for Staff Conduct

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure students remain on track with curriculum goals.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and orderly learning environment; manage student behavior in accordance with school and district policies.
• Monitor students in the classroom, hallways, cafeteria, and during recess or other scheduled activities.
• Accurately take attendance, record student progress, and provide a detailed summary report for the teacher at the conclusion of the day.
• Successfully transition between different classroom environments, subject matters, and grade levels.
• Adhere to all school and district procedures, including strict confidentiality requirements regarding student information.
• Additional Duties: Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Building Principal and other Central Office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Substitute certification - $125 per day
• Credentialed teaching certification - $145 per day
