Job Description

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Diploma, 18+ years of age, CPR and First Aid Certified

Reports to: Childcare Center Director

Performance Responsibilities:

Supervise and provide activities for infants and/or children.

Work directly with the infants and/or children in the program.

Listen to and follow directions of the Childcare Center Director and Assistant Director.

Participates in and completes all required continuing education trainings provided by Piedmont Schools.

Completes Master Teacher training and certification.

Work together with other childcare center staff to meet the needs of all children.

Exhibit a positive attitude and public relations skills.

Maintain staff time sheet.

Maintain physical environment of classroom, ensuring safety and security.

Provide appropriate information to Childcare Center Director and/ or Assistant Director for program needs.

Maintain confidentiality.

Abides by all district, federal and state laws, and regulatory agencies.

Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Terms of Employment: Work as needed.

Evaluation: Evaluation by Childcare Center Director in accordance with BOE policy

Physical Demands:

Ability to routinely and continually bend, squat, stand, walk, or climb stairs.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to do outside duties in inclement weather.

Position Type:Part-Time

Salary:$10 Per Hour
