High School Science Teacher - Central High School

RSU 64 is seeking applicants for a Science teacher vacancy at Central High School for the 2026-27 school year and beyond. Central High School is located in Corinth, Maine. RSU 64 serves students in Bradford, Corinth, Hudson, Kenduskeag, and Stetson, Maine. This position will primarily support instruction of physical science however, the ideal candidate will be certified in both physical and life science.

The successful candidate will preferably have:

Prior successful experience as a teacher in grades 9-12, though we absolutely welcome new teachers and those with solid science backgrounds looking to become an educator, to apply;

Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team;

Demonstrated knowledge of a standards based system of education;

Demonstrated knowledge in the application of technology in the delivery of instruction;

Current Maine certification or the ability to become certified; and

Current Maine CHRC.
