Job Description

The Glens Falls City School District is a dynamic and inclusive school community focused on the success of all students by fostering diverse pathways, and providing a multitude of engaging experiences. Our district is seeking interested applicants for a full-time 1.0 probationary tenure track French teacher at the High School for 2026-2027 academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging and innovative lesson plans that align with NYS State standards and District curriculum, considering the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our students;

Create a welcoming classroom environment where every student feels respected and supported;

Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students, including those with varying learning styles and backgrounds;

Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure student success and well-being;

Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills; and

Perform other duties as required by the Building Principal and/or Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Valid NYS 7-12 French certification required

Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
