This campus values staff diversity (Candidates do not have to be Jewish-only support the Jewish faith) What You'll Do Teach introductory and upper-level courses in Algebra, Geometry , and AP Math Courses , as well as advanced topics from your area of expertise. Create a warm, inclusive, and respectful classroom culture that reflects AYA's commitment to academic excellence and character development. Design engaging lessons that integrate technology , executive functioning , and social-emotional learning (SEL) practices. Monitor and assess student growth through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and individualized feedback. Collaborate closely with fellow educators, learning specialists, and school leadership to support each student's success. Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians. Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the life of the school community. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field ( Master's preferred ). Valid teaching certification or equivalent experience in High School or College-level math . Five or more years of experience in teaching upper school math. Familiarity with best practices in literacy instruction, inquiry-based learning, and differentiated teaching strategies. Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills. Passion for fostering a love of learning , building relationships with students, and meeting diverse learning needs. Understanding of Jewish values and traditions is a plus , but not required.
