QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Meets requirements for certification in grades 7-12, Foreign Language/(Spanish Prefered)

2) Ability to analyze student and develop an individualized instructional program to address formative and summative student needs

3) Ability to communicate and work effectively with school administrators, school personnel, and parents

4) Demonstrates knowledge of content area

5) Demonstrate organizational and management skills

6) Ability to implement state foreign language curriculum

7) Educational philosophy compatible with the Wirt County Board of Education

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Participates in professional development opportunities

2) Coordinate services with local agencies to provide quality instruction and services to students

3) Coordinate school foreign language activities

4) Other duties as assigned by the principal

SUPERVISOR: Principal/Assistant Principal, WCHS/WCMS

SALARY: Wirt County Salary Scale for teachers based on degree and years' experience
