Job Description

High School Science Teacher

Sumner-Fredericksburg is looking for a collaborative and learner-centered High School Science teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will join an amazing STEM team to help mold and shape our students in STEM learning and thinking for their future.

Sumner-Fredericksburg is a dynamic district on the move, with plans to build a brand new STEM/CTE wing by 2028 with the successful passing of our GO bond this coming November. We also will be starting a new work-based learning focused charter school, Future Frontiers, with plans to expand across the state in the coming years.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Iowa Teaching License with preference given to those with an All Science, Biological Science, or Chemistry endorsement;
