Job Posting: Long-Term Substitute Special Education Teacher
This position will begin at the start of the 2026-27 school year and continue through 1st semester (January 15, 2027).
Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial Secondary School seeks a long-term substitute special education teacher. The position serves students in grades 612.
Position Overview
You support students with disabilities. You deliver instruction. You work with staff and families. You help students grow.
Responsibilities
- Teach and support students with IEPs.
- Deliver small-group and co-taught instruction.
- Implement IEP accommodations and modifications.
- Monitor progress and collect data.
- Collaborate with general education teachers.
- Communicate with families and the special education team.
- Maintain a positive, structured classroom.
Qualifications
- Minnesota licensure in Special Education, or eligibility.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Knowledge of IEPs and special education law.
- Strong communication skills.
- Commitment to student success.

- Long-term substitute assignment.

- Full-time school day.
