Palco USD 269 is an "Ag-Focused" School District that is located 45 minutes NW of Hays, KS. The School District runs on a 4-Day School Week (Tuesday-Friday with Students). The "Northwest Kansas Ag Education Center" is located within the school district, which provides students real-world Ag training, Ag internships, and Ag succession planning for high school students. Although the district is centered around the towns of Palco, Damar, and Zurich, students and parents travel from all over NW KS to attend the "Ag Focused" School District.
